Comment: A good breakfast bread which isn't too sweet. I sometimes have problems with the bread rising well because of the humid climate where I reside, but this made a good size loaf. It had lots of almonds with the mix which was very good.

This recipe is based on Swedish Egg Bread. (You add one large egg to the mix.) It's a rich, soft egg bread--not too sweet--but touched with vanilla and studded with almond bits. This is an absolutely wonderful breakfast bread. Try it for toast or with jam. Imagine the aroma of homemade bread and freshly ground vanilla beans drifting through you kitchen. Give this bread a try. Make this bread in your bread machine, on the counter, or with your stand-tyep mixer. Each package contains two mixes. Each mix makes a 1 1/2 pound-sized loaf. A package of slivered almonds is included for each mix--a total of one-half pound premium almonds. Quality SAF yeast is also included. You will add water, butter, and a fresh egg to each mix.
